New responsive site built from scratch. Same idea as stanphoto.ca: to make use of every pixel to showcase my photography, with minimal navigation.

One goal is to create a fluid experience during page and element transitions, rather than stick with traditional page or element jump. This way will further reduce navigational elements so the site can be intuitive and ergonomic to navigate.

The two major transitions:

Image zoom: I wanted to create a seamless experience when viewing individual photo, so I extended the widely used lightbox code base and created a fluid zooming transition from grid view to individual image.

Page resize and lazy loading: using lazy loading along with grid balancing animation, not only hints more contents, but also gives dynamic to the site.
